What Should I Take to my First Visit?

Make a list of any questions you may have along with symptoms you are experiencing. And don't forget to leave your worries at the door. Be prepared to answer questions regarding medications you are taking and previous surgeries . We want you to be prepared; writing these things down will help you remember all of the important elements. Gather lab test results and medical records including X-rays and MRI's. Be sure to check with your insurance provider to see if you need a referral.

Your time is valuable. We strive to relieve pain as quickly as possible. You can help expedite the process by filling out the patient registration and medical history forms prior to your visit. Come with your insurance card, photo identification, and referral form (if required) in hand. Bring your walking or exercise shoes if the pain you are experiencing occurs during physical activity.

What Should I Expect During My First Visit?

Initial podiatric evaluation can take up to one hour, but each case is different from the last. Dr. Dr Khanh Le will ask a variety of questions and conduct a physical examination of the feet and ankles. He will be looking for any discoloration, abnormal growths, or any other signs and symptoms of foot conditions. Don't be afraid to ask questions during this evaluation. Your understanding of treatments and procedures is vital to effective recovery.

If your foot shows signs of serious injury, diagnostic tools such as x-ray, ultrasound, or MRI will be used to determine the severity. Knowing the extent of the damage will ensure the forward progression of adequate treatment.
