What is Sports Medicine?

Listen to your feet. Pain and discomfort is not normal and should raise awareness. In order to reduce your chances of developing foot and ankle injuries, stop at the first sign of pain or soreness and evaluate what you were doing when the pain started and if more activity is increasing the pain. If so, stop and seek medical help, permanent damage can happen if you are unaware of how severe the injury is.

Many individuals also suffer from athlete's foot. This foot fungus lives in dark, most areas, such as athletic shoes. Left untreated, you could have this spread and contribute the development of toenail fungus.
